Striving For Accuracy and Precsion

When approaching a golf putt you must be Precise. As in life and in short golf putts you must also be accurate. As illustrated in the photo even little things in life must be done with care and skill. The ability to be precise and accurate will be very important to my career in accounting. Due to the fact, that I will not have much room for error. For example, if I were just simply adding figures together, if I were to get one thing wrong during that process. That mistake may cause my employer and myself some difficulties. Another reason this Habit Of Mind is important to me becoming an accountant is due to the fact, that I will be expected to meet numerous deadlines. In order for me to be able to meet those deadlines I will need to accurately manage my time. The ability to be precise and accurate will be important to me in whatever career I do end up in, but this will be a valuable skill that I can apply through out my life. I chose this image of my Dad trying to make a short putt because it if you do not think of how you are going to approach a simple putt, it is very likely that you will miss the putt. It also illustrates my belief that even if the task you are doing is simple or easy, it is still is a good idea to approach even little tasks with the desire to be accurate and precise in whatever you do.
