Thinking Flexibly

I took this picture of someone trying to get their golf ball out of the woods. Because it’s a good example of having to think flexibly it may seem as though there is no way out of a certain situation, but if you take your time to analyze the situation and think outside the box it is very possible that you will find a way to get the ball ether on the green or fairway. This is a good Habit Of Mind for me to have in my back pocket. One reason I feel this way is due to the fact, when I enter the work force I will need to be flexible in my thinking when faced with the unfamiliar situations that I will face as a part of the job. Another reason I think this is a good ability to have has to with me being a student. As I progress through my career college career I will be exposed to many different situations and it will take a flexible state of mind in order, to be successful. For example, every time I begin a class I will need to adapt to the professors expectations in order, to be successful in that class.
